The BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Innovatio PRIZE is managed by the Board of the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation (the “Board”). The winner(s) of this prize will be recognised for their significant contributions to the research on global Hong Kong studies, and for promoting awareness of Hong Kong in the world. This prize is one of the newest additions to the ICAS Book Prize family and it has been established to support high quality research in this exciting and fast-growing field of study. The prize logo, which is also reflected in the trophy conferred on winners, juxtaposes two precious elements: a pearl and a pierced jade amulet. This symbol has happy connotations in both Chinese and Western contexts. The winning works will be on display at the Goethe-Gallery and Black Box Studio, Goethe-Institut Hong Kong from 1 December 2023 to 14 January 2024. All exhibited works are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting organisation of the Prize and the charitable refugee protection work of Justice Centre Hong Kong. For details, please visit this website. The competition is open to all Hong Kong and global scholars aged 18-30, regardless of their citizenship or residence status. Please read the Rules and Regulations and submit your entry online. More information will be sent to you via email after your successful registration. Best of luck! ICAS looks forward to receiving your submissions!
